A Night of Wedding Style Presented by Roma Sposa Atelier

Last night Roma Sposa Atelier presented A Night of Wedding Style at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI. The main event was a fashion show with three isles/runways so there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. There was a book signing by Grace Ormonde for her new book and Ines Di Santo was a special guest.

The first part of the fashion show presented models wearing Roma Sposa’s collection of evening gowns. The second half of the show highlighted their couture wedding gowns. For those of you that don’t know, Roma Sposa Atelier in Birmingham Michigan is a full service bridal and evening atelier which replicates the qualities of a Eurpoean boutique with world renowned designer gowns that are exclusive to Roma Sposa in Michigan.

After the show we were lucky enough to meet Ines Di Santo, world renowned wedding gown (and also evening gown) designer. From left to right in the picture below: Dave Matthews(owner of Janet Davis Cleaners, Ines di Santo, Kyle Matthews(that’s me).

Ines Di Santo is known for the hand ruching, sewn on beads, and superior silk she uses to create her wedding gowns. She was born in Italy, educated throughout Europe and South America and oversees the production of every gown at her atelier in Toronto.

We also got to meet Grace Ormonde, editor in chief of the magazine Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and author of the 416 page, 10.5 pound, book Grace Ormonde Weddings “being in love never goes out of style…”. Here I am pictured with Grace Ormonde during her book signing followed by Dave and Grace in the next photo.
