Our pickup and delivery services extends throughout Metro-Detroit,
including, but not limited to Rochester, Rochester Hills, Oakland Township,
along with parts of Auburn Hills and Troy. We also invite our customers to
visit our physical location in Berkley on iconic Woodward Avenue.
What are your pickup and delivery times in Rochester, Rochester
Hills, and Oakland Township?
We offer pickup and delivery services in Rochester, Rochester Hills, and
Oakland Township every Monday and Thursday. We suggest putting your
bag out on your scheduled service day by 8:30am at the latest. Delivery is
typically between 8:30am & 5pm. Items picked up on Monday are delivered
on Thursday and items picked up on Thursday are delivered on Monday.
Household and specialty items typically take a bit longer.
How can I schedule a pickup?
Scheduling a pickup with Janet Davis Cleaners is straightforward. If you’ve
elected for twice weekly service, we will come automatically. If you’re set as
a “will call” account, once you’re registered, simply log in to your account
and choose the most convenient pickup date. Remember, we offer pickup
services in your area on Mondays and Thursdays.
What happens if I am not at home during the scheduled pickup or
delivery time?
Most of our customers are not home when we stop by. We’ll pick out a
service spot together. For most customers this is the front door. We can
also pickup and deliver from a side door, back door, or in the garage.
How should I package my clothes for pickup?
Please place all the clothes and household items to be cleaned in a bag
that we provide. Our driver will collect the bag from the designated location
during the pickup.
For your first pickup, use any bag, but place a “for Janet Davis Cleaners”
note attached to the outside, and your name on the inside.
What is the turnaround time for your pickup and delivery service?
We strive to provide a swift service. Typically, your cleaned clothes and
household items will be delivered back to you on the next service day after
pickup (Monday/Thursday and Thursday/Monday). Some items like
comforters, repairs, and evening gowns do take a longer.
Is there a minimum order size for the pickup and delivery service?
At Janet Davis Cleaners, we cater to orders of all sizes. Whether you have
a single garment or a large load, we’re happy to serve you. There is no
minimum order size for our pickup and delivery service.
What happens if my clothes get lost or damaged?
At Janet Davis Cleaners, we have invested in the most advanced garment
management system, and handle each garment with the utmost care.
However, in the unlikely event of loss or damage, we have a
comprehensive policy in place to address such instances and ensure
customer satisfaction.
How do I pay for the pickup and delivery service?
We accept several payment methods for our pickup and delivery service,
including most major credit cards and debit cards. All transactions are
secure and easy to manage through your online account.
Can I request special services, such as stain removal or alterations,
with the pickup and delivery service?
Absolutely! When scheduling your pickup, you’ll have the option to specify
any special services or instructions. Whether you need a tough stain
removed, or an alteration, we’ve got you covered. You can also simply drop
a note in your bag with the item in question.
Do I need to be present at the time of delivery?
No, you don’t need to be present at the time of delivery. Just designate a
drop-off spot and we’ll make sure your freshly cleaned and neatly packaged
clothes are delivered there.
